Dear Anyone,
I don’t know if letters still change people the way they used to. Maybe that’s why I’m writing this. Not because I expect an answer, and not because I expect anyone to understand every part of it—but because there are things that sit in the quiet parts of us for too long.
Today was ordinary. Nothing dramatic happened. But somewhere between work, conversations, and pretending everything was moving forward, I realized how much goes unsaid. We save words for later. We wait for the perfect moment to explain how we feel, to apologize, to tell someone we miss them, to admit we’re afraid, or to say we’re proud of them. And then time moves.
So this letter is simple:
If you’ve been carrying something, write it.
If there’s someone you miss, tell them.
If there’s something you never said, say it anyway.
Maybe letters aren’t about being answered.
Maybe they’re about finally being written.
Anyone
